6 Days Southwest China Guilin to Guizhou Photography Tour

Day 1 Guilin

Pick up service can be arranged at Guilin train station or Guilin airport, our Guilin local guide will meet you at the exit with a welcome sign "Guilin Private Tour". Your 6 days Southwest China photography tour as followed activities:

Starts your Guilin tour at The Elephant Trunk Hill  is one of the four top attractions in Guilin that all visitors coming to town usually stop by. Regarded as the symbol of Guilin city, the site is the most famous karstic hill formation out of the many rising straight out of the ground throughout the city.

Next, you will visit the Reed Flute Cave, being a city of wonders that ranks on the top list of destinations for its numerous heaven-like landscapes, Guilin is without any doubts the city where to enjoy different kinds of sceneries among which the enigmatic Reed Flute Cave is one of the most renowned one.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Guilin.

Day 2 Yangshuo

After breakfast, our guide will take you go for a sightseeing along the Li River. Guilin is famous for its picturesque scenery, and the best way to see it is from the deck of Li River Cruise ships. In the morning you will depart from your hotel and be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier (about 1 hour drive) for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the unique mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.

In the afternoon you will disembark at the old town Yangshuo. Having a history of more than 1,400 years, West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo. You will have some time to explore the old town's lovely attractions.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Yangshuo.

Day 3 Yangshuo-Sanjiang-Zhaoxing

In the morning, you will be picked up from you hotel and drive you to Yangshuo railway station for the train to Sanjiang city. The train takes around 1 hour. Upon on your arrival, our local guide will meet you at the train station with a sign "Sanjiang Private Tour". Drive to the first stop directly-Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge. The bridge is one of famous bridges with Dong minority style. 

After visit the bridge, you will have a lunch at local restaurant to taste local flavor.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Zhaoxing, Guizhou Province, it is one of the largest Dong minority county in China. You will Pay a visit to Dong Village and Drum Towers, both of them are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. In Zhaoxing, you will get a very nice view of the ethnic group's daily life. 

After dinner, you will be taken back to your hotel in Zhaoxing. Overnight in Zhaoxing.

Day 4 Zhaoxing-Guiyang

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby at appointed time, transfer to Congjiang railway station for the high-speed train to Guiyang.It takes around 1.5hours. Upon on your arrival, our local guide will meet you at the train station with a sign "Guiyang Private Tour".You will be escorted to your hotel directly.

First head to Qingyan Ancient Town, 29km south of the city of Guiyang. It is one of the most famous historical and cultural towns in Guizhou Province dating back to the year of 1378. The ancient town is elaborately designed and artistically built with scattered temples, old Ming and Qing buildings, well known for exhibiting five hundreds painted arhat sculptures. 

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

In the afternoon, return to the city center and visit Jiaxiu Pavillion which is the symbol of Guiyang city, with a long history of more than 400 years. It was originally built based a giant rock dating back to Ming Dynasty ( 1368 - 1644). In Qing Dynasty it was rebuilt for several times and the present pavilion dates back to 1909. It is a three-story pavilion 20 meters high with white stone railings, Nanming River passing by at its front. 

At the end of the day tour, drive back to your hotel in Guiyang downtown. 

Day 5 Guiyang-Anshun-Guiyang

After breakfast, drive to Anshun (about 2 hours ). Visit Huangguohu Waterfall, the largest in Asia, which reaches 76 meters high, 81 meters wide. The scene changes while you are standing in different places. 

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

Then take a visit to Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot. Tiangxinqiao Scenic Spot is composed of three areas: Tianxin Cave, Potted Landscape on Water and Stone Forest in Water, 7km south of Huangguoshu Waterfall. 

After the Anshun city day tour, drive back to your hotel in Guiyang downtown.

Day 6 Guiyang Departure

In the morning, you will be taken to visit the Hongfu Temple. Located in the Qianling Mountain, 1.5 kilometers northeast of Guiyang City. It was first constructed during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. It is rated as one of the 142 national key temple scenic areas as well as the key cultural relic preservation in Guizhou Province.

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

At last, drive to the train station. Our service ends.
