Mt. Siguniang is famous for it's charming natural scenery and folk culture, it can be visited all the year round, but the best travel time is July and August, when the scenery is the most beautiful and the climate is the most comfortable. 

2. Could you advise the top things to do when we visit Mt. Siguniang?
Mt. Siguniang has perfect mountain landscape, beautiful natural scenery as well as the colorful ethnic culture, so trekking, photography and explore the traditional ethnic culture are the top things to do there. There’re various trekking routes provided for you, such as One-day Hiking, multi-day trekking with camping; You can take photos for the different sceneries vary from different altitudes of the peaks; Taste the local food & watch the authentic local activities at local ethnic group inhabitated.

3. I want to visit Mt. Siguniang from Chengdu once i arrive, can you arrange a tour with the pick up service from Chengdu airport?
Yes, we operate the Chengdu tour to visit the Mt.Siguniang and surrounding area. Our guide & driver will pick you up from the exit of the Chengdu airport with a sign once you arrive and transfer to visit Mt.Siguniang directly. You should inform your arrival flight schedule in advance, we will make the suitable travel route based on your schedule.

4. How many days does it take to visit Mt. Siguniang scenic area?
We suggest you spend at least 2 days to explore the Mt. Siguniang scenic area, it takes around 5 hour's driving from Chengdu downtown. You can experience a leisure hiking at one of the three valleys in Mt.Siguniang and see the the landscape would be a great treat to those who want to escape the Chengdu city.

5. Is there direct bus from Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain?
No, there is no direct bus available between Chengdu & Siguniang Mountain, you can take bus from Chengdu Chaidianzi Bus Station to Xiaojin County, there is a bus departs at 6:30 a.m. daily to Xiaojin County and it takes about 5 hours to there. You can take Xiaojin county local transportation to Mt.Siguniang once you arrive.

7. Is possible to camp at Mt. Siguniang scenic? I want to trek there for 3 days.
Yes, it is possible. You can camp just about everywhere by the track side, as long as the guide, which is mandatory for multi-day hikes. As always with camping and wildlife, show respect for nature, locals and environment. Be tidy, take rubbish with you, and leave your camp site as you never had existed. You should wear more warm clothes if you plan to camp there.

8. I am going to Mt.Siguniang end of August, I am worried that I will suffer from high latitude sickness, what is the best way to prevent it?
Mt. Siguniangshan is in plateau area, visitors to the plateau may have altitude sickness, remember to drink plenty of water, try to eat light food, eat more fruits and vegetables, and avoid heavy exercise. Some of peaks at Mt. Siguniang has an altitude over 5000 meters above sea level and most sightseeing are along the valley if you are not plan for a adventure trekking there. Most of the people do not have the altitude sickness. If you are in a good health, you do not need to worry about it any more. 

9. Where should i stay when i travel to visit Mount Siguniang? Is there any good hotel?
Please note that there is no hotel inside the Mt.Siguniang National Park. Most travelers choose to stay overnight at Siguniangshan Town or Changping Village, there are lots of guesthouse there, the price from RMB 60 per bed per night to hundreds of RMB for one night. The price will be much higher if you travel to there during the high season. Shanji Time Spring Guest House, Yunxigu Inn, Siguniangshan Tea & Panda Hotel are recommended. As for the trekking tour, you can also experience the camping at Mt. Siguniang National Park.

10. I will travel to Sichuan province and visit Mt. Siguniang from Malaysia end of this year, what should i pack for this trip?
Winter in Mount Siguniang is pretty chilly and dry, with night-time temps falling to under -15?C frequently in Rilong, and also to even chillier temps in the mountains. If you plan your Mt.Siguniang tour during winter time, you should  prepare the thick jacket, sweater, hat, scarf, gloves & comfortable walking shoes. Due the dry weather there, you need to prepare the sunglass & suncream. 

11. Is there any special travel permit to get into the Mt.Siguniang scenic area?
There is no travel permit to visit Mt.Siguniang scenic area, it's different from Tibet Travel. Sichuan Mountain Climbing Permit Climbing any mountain in China that is over 3500 meters will require a climbing permit, if you are planning a climbing up to the the summit of Dafeng will require a climbing permit from Sichuan Mountaineering Association. It costs around 300 yuan per person.
