There are several transportation options from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport to the city center. The most convenient and affordable is the airport shuttle bus, which runs to the Aviation Hotel in the southern part of the city. The journey takes about 40 minutes and costs 20 yuan. (For travelers heading to Yangshuo, it’s recommended to get off at Guilin South Railway Station and take the Yangshuo-bound bus from the station square.) Taxi service to downtown Guilin is also available, costing around 80 yuan and taking slightly less time—approximately 30 to 40 minutes. For added comfort and convenience, private transfer services are also available. Additionally, Guilin Metro Line 1, which will connect the airport to the city center, is expected to open in 2025.
