Pick up service is arranged at Chengdu downtown hotel, you will find a welcome sign "Chengdu Priavte Tour". Then drive 220km (about 5 hours) to Mount Siguniang.
On the way, you will have a chance to visit the Earthquake ruin of Xuankou Middle School. The middle school, built in 2006, had been a symbolic construction of Yingxiu before the earthquake. Now it is a memorial site of May 12 Earthquake.
Upon arrival, drive to your hotel in Xiaojin town.
After breakfast, you will be first taken to explore one of the main valley in Mt.Siguniang-Shuangqiao Valley. It is the most beautiful valley among three valleys. With an area of 216.6 square kilometers, it possesses vistas of snowy peaks, pastures, meadows and forests, etc. More characteristics of the valley need your exploring there. During the journey, you can enjoy different types of picturesque scenery.
In the afternoon, head to the Changping Valley. It is about 30km in length and covers over 100 square kilometers. The entrance to the valley is in the Changping Vallay. (Lunch is include)
In the valley, you can enjoy outdoor activities hiking, camping and horse riding. There are several attractions, such as Guozhuangping, Lama Monastery, dry lakes and waterfalls, etc. Besides, Changping Valley is also known as an important base for climbing Sanfeng and Yaomeifeng, and the road which the hikers explore through is from Siguniangshan Area to Bipeng Valley in Lixian County.
Stay overnight in Xiaojin town.
Leave Mount Siguniang in the morning then head to the Danba county. Danba lies on the eastern border of the Ganzi Tibet Autonomous Region of Sichuan Province. The Tibetan villages here are famous for their gorgeous watchtowers and traditional Tibetan fortress-like houses, which constitute a remarkable scenery with the natural surroundings. There are 562 ancient rock watchtowers in Danba, which are all built hundreds of years ago for defensive purposes.
Upon arrival you will visit the famous Jiaju Tibetan Village. The Tibetan villages here are famous for their gorgeous watchtowers and traditional Tibetan fortress-like houses, which constitute a remarkable scenery with the natural surroundings.
Stay overnight in Jiaju town.
Today, you will starts from Danba to Kangding. On the way you will through the Tagong grassland, home to monasteries, scenic grasslands, devoted monks and Tibetan nomads with their thousands of thick-coated yaks.
Then we continue on to Kangding, sacred to the Paoma Mountain and home to Han Chinese, Tibetan, Hui, Yi, Qiang,and some notable Buddhist monasteries, including Nanwu Si Monastery, Anjue Monastery and Jinggang Monastery. We will only visit the old town of Kangding and Jingang Monastery in the remainder of the day.
Stay overnight in Kangding.
After breakfast, return to Chengdu via Shangli Ancient Town, which was in ancient times the last stop of the Southern Silk Road route before traders left the Sichuan basin and entered either the Tibetan or Yunnan Plateau.
At last, drive back to your hotel in Chengdu downtown or drop off at Chengdu train station, airport.
