Drive to Lezhi County, about 125km from Chengdu. Visit of the Former residence of Chen Yi (1901-1972), one of the ten supreme commanders of the People's Republic of China (PRC). On August 26, 1904, Cheng Yi was born at Zhang’anjing Village, Fu Xing Chang, Lezhi County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province.
Then drive to Yilong County, about 250km from Lezhi County, and visit of the Former residence of Zhu De (1886-1976), the head of the ten supreme commanders of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Zhu De was born in the storehouse of local landlord at Li Jia Wan, Yilong County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. The storehouse still exist.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. Stay overnight at Yilong County.
After breakfast, drive to Guang’an city, about 160km from Yilong County. Pay a visit to the Former residence of Deng Xiaoping, known as “Deng’s Old Yard”. On August 22, 1904, Deng Xiaoping was born in the North wing-room of their yard. He spent 15 years there.
Deng Xiaoping (1904-1997) was one of the major chairmen of PRC and the constructor of the policies – reform & opening and modernization construction.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. Stay overnight in Guang’an county.
Free on your own until transfer you back to your hotel in Chengdu or drop off at Chengdu train station/Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
