Upon arrival, you’ll begin your incredible Giant Panda Volunteering Experience, where you'll have the unique opportunity to interact closely with these beloved creatures. Your day will be filled with rewarding activities, such as preparing panda meals, cleaning their enclosures, and learning about panda conservation efforts from expert staff. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the base, you’ll gain firsthand insight into the lives of these gentle giants, all while contributing to their well-being. At Dujiangyan Panda Base, home to over 40 giant pandas and 5 red pandas, you'll immerse yourself in a one-day panda volunteer program that provides a unique opportunity to experience the lives of these incredible animals. As an honorary keeper, you’ll engage in essential tasks such as cleaning bamboo, picking up droppings, and washing enclosures while observing the pandas’ living conditions. This hands-on experience allows you to understand the status and needs of these beloved creatures better. After a day of dedicated service, you'll receive an official certificate from the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP), along with souvenirs like a panda badge, T-shirt, or club magazine.
