Huazang Temple

Overview
Huazang Temple, the full name of "Yongming Huazang Temple", is located on the main peak of the Golden Summit of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3077 meters. "Jinding (Golden Hall)" is one of the temples of Huazang Temple. It is located at the highest position. It is combined with Huazang Temple. It is collectively called Huazang Temple. It is commonly called Jinding (a synonym for this place). Have a table. Huazang Temple, originally built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was called Puguang Temple at that time and later renamed Guangxiang Temple. In the Ming Dynasty, the Fuxian Hall was built at the highest point behind the hall, commonly known as the Bronze Hall. The roof of the palace is gilded, also known as the golden roof. The mountain on which the Golden Summit is located is also named.

What to See
Both the Bronze Hall and Huazang Temple were destroyed by fire. The newly built Jinding Huazang Temple is built on the hillside, with triple halls distributed from low to high on the central axis.

The first hall is Maitreya Hall. The golden plaque of "Hua Zang Temple" inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu hangs on the gate of the temple. The temple enshrines a bronze statue of Maitreya Buddha with a bronze statue of Wei Tuo behind it. There are also cultural relics such as a three-legged bronze tripod and a bronze stele during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.

The second hall is the Daxiong Hall. The temple enshrines a three-body Buddha with a bronze and golden body, sitting 3 meters high. There is also Buddhist artifacts such as bronze pans and bronze bells and bronze statues and bronze statues of Samantabhadra.

The third hall is the Puxian hall, namely the golden hall and the golden dome, which is the highest hall in Mount Emei. The plaques on the gate of the palace include "Golden Top", "Wish Endless", "Puxian Wish the Sea", "Hua Zang Solemnity", etc. inscribed for Zhao Puchu, Benhuan, Mingchang, etc. The bronze statue of Samantabhadra riding an elephant is enshrined in the hall. Samantabhadra sits on a lotus platform with Ruyi in his hands. The entire statue is made of copper, 4.5 meters high. There are copper tripods and other objects in the hall.
