Overview
Tianzi mountain scenic area is one of the four scenic spots in Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The former name of Tianzi mountain is Qingyan mountain. It is named after the uprising of local farmers led by Xiang Dakun, the leader of ancient Tujia nationality. It starts from Tianzi Pavilion in the East, General rock in the West and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in the south, stretching for nearly 40 kilometers. The total area is more than 5400 hectares, with the altitude of 1262.5 meters and the lowest altitude of 534 meters.
Main Attractions
Sky garden
The sky garden is located on the right side of Tianzi villa, with an altitude of more than 1000 meters. Below it is an idyllic Valley in the sky of the abyss. There are hundreds of meters of cliffs on the valley. At the top of the cliff is a terraced field with a size of 3 hectares. It's like being in a fairyland.
Dianjiang Platform
Located in a deep valley surrounded by fog, with craggy rocks like dozens of people. The "emperor" style rock is in the middle. The "Herald" style rock in front of him is reading out the imperial edict. The "Zuo Cheng and you Xiang" style rock bow to stand, and the generals listen with bated breath. It is said that emperor Xiang once made a military parade here.
Helong Park
Helong Park is located on the left side of the 1, 200-meter-long thousand layer rock,it is a memorial park built to commemorate the patriotic general he long. In the park, the bronze statue of Helong standing on the green rock is connected with the nature, forming a unique artistic style. This is the largest bronze statue in China in the past 100 years.
Tianzi Pavilion
Tianzi Pavilion is located on the terrace 200 meters east of Helong park. In 1995, it was donated by Shenzhen Municipal People's government. "Tianzi Pavilion" was inscribed by Guan Shanyue, a master of contemporary landscape painting and Lingnan Painting Sect. In Tianzi Pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of Tianzi mountain, and the scene is very spectacular.

How to get there: Upon arrive in Zhangjiajie, take a tourist bus to Tianzi Mountain Parking Lot.
Cable Car ticket: CNY 67
Get there from the Zhangjiajiedowntown: Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to Tianzi mountain Ticket Office. Then take the tourist bus to the top of Tianzi Mountain.
