How to buy Chengdu Panda Base Tickets
1. Buy the entrance tickets at the ticket office with your passport or ID card and directly, it is located on south side of the Chengdu Giant Panda Base, close to the main entrance. International Service Windows are available there, you can pay in cash. If you have Alipay or Wechat Pay, you can buy ticket from official webiste, only in Chinese version. There are 25000 tickets are available for sale daily, you'd better book the ticket in advance if you travel during the holidays.

Best Time to Visit the Chengdu Panda Base
Chengdu Giant panda base is open all year round. It is worth noting that the peak season of domestic tourism is from July to September every year. If you don't want to go to the panda base on a crowded day, you can choose to go before July or after September.

How to visit the Chengdu Panda Base
The Chengdu Giant panda base is actually a nature reserve built on a mountain, which takes at least 3 hours to visit. Because pandas like cloudy days, it's easy to sleep when it's hot. So if you want to see a lively and lovely panda instead of sleeping, you'd better choose spring and autumn, and the temperature is 10-20 degrees. On the day of the trip, the best time to see the pandas is 7:30-9:30 a.m. (the opening time is 7:30 a.m., in order to avoid queuing, please arrive at the entrance around 7:00 a.m.). If you go in the afternoon, most of them are sleeping. There are signs in the park, you can follow the signs to choose the route or take the sightseeing bus. The ticket price is 10 yuan per person, which is more suitable for tourists who can't walk too much.
