9 Days Guilin Guizhou Tour Packages

Day 1 Guilin Arrival

Upon your arrival at Guilin Airport (Train station), our local guide and driver will pick up you and then transfer you to your hotel in Guilin downtown. 

The rest of today is free for you to explore beautiful surroundings.

Day 2 Guilin-Longsheng-Guilin

You will be transferred to Longsheng(2.5 hours). After arriving the Longsheng, you will visit the Longji Terraced Fields. Probably built 650 years ago, Longji Terraced Fields are now famous for its large scale of rice paddies on the mountain, stacked up to form a rather spectacular view.

After lunch, climbing the Longji Terrace Field. While climbing up to the mountain top, you can experience the rural lifestyle of local villages, which are mainly dwelled by Yao and Zhuang Minorities. Minority culture is another big highlight besides the spectacular terraces and unique traditional houses in Longji Terraced Fields. The area is inhabited by Yao and Zhuang Minority nationalities. Yao women are famous because of their unique clothing and hair style. They are famous for having longest hair in the world as they never cut their hair. 

Drive you back to the Guilin downtown.

Day 3 Guilin-Yangshuo

In the morning, takes about 1 hour to drive to Li River from downtown. The boarding time is scheduled at 9:30 am, and the whole journey takes about 4 hours. Embark and enjoy your Li River cruise to Yangshuo. Li River is the highlight of Guilin tour, and whoever come to this city will be impressed by its natural beauty. The landscape is decorated with rolling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves, leisurely boats and is lined with bamboo. The water reflect the mountain and the sky, forming a picturesque scenery. (Lunch is include)

Disembark at Yangshuo in the afternoon around 1:00pm. Have a short exploration of the old town. Yangshuo West Street is a place where you will find a lot of unique shops selling traditional handcrafts, hand-made scarfs, snacks of local flavor etc. There are some optional activities available, such as cycling, bamboo rafting, watch an impression show and etc.   

Drive you to your hotel in Yangshuo.

Day 4 Yangshuo-Guilin

Today, first take a visit to the iconic Sight-Elephant Trunk Hill, which is one of the four top Guilin attractions that all visitors coming to town usually stop by. Regarded as the symbol of Guilin city, the site is the most famous karstic hill formation out of the many rising straight out of the ground throughout the city. 

Then we head to Fubo Hill or Wave-Subduing Hill, which another of Guilin's unique scenic spots. Natural scenery - rocks and stalactites and the man-made cloister and pavilions blend to make this a memorable sight. Climbing along the winding stone stairway to the hilltop provides a panoramic view of Guilin City.

Lunch will be arranged at a great local restaurant to try local food.

After lunch, continue your tour to Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "the Palace of Natural Arts” is located in the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometers away from the center of the city. It is a cave on the southern shoulder of the Guangming Hill (Bright Hill) ancd is one of the most extraordinary scenic spots in Guilin. Counted as "must-see" sights in Guilin as well as Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Folded Brocade Hill.

In the afternoon, move on to the Seven-star Park. The park is named after the Seven Star Mountain, where there are seven peaks just like the stars falling from the sky. It is a micro version of Guilin scenery. Transfer back to your hotel after the tour.

Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel in Guilin downtown.

Day 5 Guilin-Guiyang

In the morning, transfer to the Guilin Airport to catch your flight to Guizhou.

Upon you arrive at Guiyang, our Guiyang private tour guide and driver will met you at the exit of Guiyang Airport, holding with a welcome signal "Guizhou Private Tour" . 

First head to Qingyan Ancient Town, 29km south of the city of Guiyang. It is one of the most famous historical and cultural towns in Guizhou Province dating back to the year of 1378. The ancient town is elaborately designed and artistically built with scattered temples, old Ming and Qing buildings, well known for exhibiting five hundreds painted arhat sculptures. 

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

After lunch, return to the city center and visit Jiaxiu Pavillion which is the symbol of Guiyang city, with a long history of more than 400 years. It was originally built based a giant rock dating back to Ming Dynasty ( 1368 - 1644). In Qing Dynasty it was rebuilt for several times and the present pavilion dates back to 1909. It is a three-story pavilion 20 meters high with white stone railings, Nanming River passing by at its front. 

In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Hongfu Temple. Located in the Qianling Mountain, 1.5 kilometers northeast of Guiyang City. It was first constructed during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. It is rated as one of the 142 national key temple scenic areas as well as the key cultural relic preservation in Guizhou Province.

At the end of the day tour, drive back to your hotel in Guiyang downtown. 

Day 6 Guiyang-Anshun

After breakfast, drive to Anshun (about 2 hours ). Visit Huangguohu Waterfall, the largest in Asia, which reaches 76 meters high, 81 meters wide. The scene changes while you are standing in different places. 

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

Then take a visit to Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot. Tiangxinqiao Scenic Spot is composed of three areas: Tianxin Cave, Potted Landscape on Water and Stone Forest in Water, 7km south of Huangguoshu Waterfall. 

After the Anshun city day tour, drive to your hotel in Huangguoshu.

Day 7 Anshun-Guiyang

After breakfast, you will be taken to visit Dragon Palace Cave - an underground water cave which needs a boat ride.

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

In the Afternoon visit to Tianlgong Ancient Town. The ancestors of these villagers migrated from Jiangxi Province to Guizhou Province during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Women here are still dressed in traditional Ming dynasty costumes, and houses remain faithful to the Ming architectural styles.

Drive back to your hotel in Guiyang downtown.

Day 8 Guiyang-Kaili

Today, first drive about 2.5 hours to Kaili, 200km east of Guiyang. Kaili is the capital city of the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Southeast Guizhou, and also the base of southeast Guizhou's ethnic culture tour.

Upon arrival, you will pay a visit to Kaili Museum, where you can get general impression of the region and Miao and Dong's classification, costume and life style. 

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

continue your tour to Shidong Piantou Miao village (1 hours by driving), the village accepts hundreds of visitors to join in famous Sisters' Meal Festival (always on April) every year. In the normal period, the village seems quiet but still remains lots of cultural things to discover. 

Stay overnight in Kaili.

Day 9 Kaili-Guiyang

After breakfast, you will visit the Wanba Gejia village, where you could experience the Miao's special costumes and dress-up and enjoy the natural sceneries.

After lunch, drive back to Guiyang (Train station, Airport). Our service ends.
