The Mount Qingcheng is home of Taoism. The famous Taoism temples are all located in the Front Mountain. First hike about half hour to Yuecheng Lake which lying quietly at the middle of the mountain, then take a five minute Buyun cable car up to the mountain.
Then head to Front Mountain of Mount Qingcheng, well known as a birthplace of Taoism. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts incredibly lush surroundings and secluded tranquility, as well as well-preserved Taoist temples. Hike about half hour to Yuecheng Lake which lying quietly in the middle of the mountain and then take a 5-minute Bayun cableway up to the mountain. Walk to the mountain top and visit the historical Taoist temples along the way, like Shangqing Temple, Laojun Pavilion, experience culture of Taoism and enjoy fresh air and stunning scenery. After learning some Tao on Mount Qingcheng, you can find inner peace here and feel the power Po uses in Kung Fu.
After you descend the mountain in the afternoon, after 20 minutes' driving, you will arrive in Dujiangyan Dam. As the most famous ancient Chinese Dam, Dujiangyan is still in function. You will learn about how ancient China made full use of local landscape and built this great project.
After this tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Chengdu or drop off at Chengdu train station, airport.
