Day 1 Chongqing Arrival

Pick up service can be arranged at Chongqing downtown hotel or Chongqing train station/airport. Our guide will meet you with a welcome sign "Chongqing Private Tour".

Firstly, you will be taken to visit the Ciqikou Old Town. The old town is located in Shapingba district of Chongqing and on the west bank of Jialing River, taking up an area of 1.18 square kilometers. This place is very charming with its narrow streets and small wooden houses and it provides some great opportunities for shopping souvenirs or tasting local snacks. When you are done with this, the ship will be waiting for you to take you on the cruise.

After the tour, transfer to Chongqing Chaotianmen Cruise Dock for your Yangtze River Cruise trip. Upon on your arrival, check in your cruise and you will have an embarkation safety briefing & facilities onboard introduction. The cruise will depart at 21:30pm.

Day 2 Yangtze River Cruise

As the largest water system in China, Yangtze River is historically, economically and culturally important to the country. It has numerous tributaries including Min River, Han River, Jialing River, Gan River, and Huangpu River.

Upon you cruise along the Yangtze river, you will have an optional choice to take the excursion to visit the Fengdu Ghost City (at your own expense), visiting either the "Ghost City" known for its statues of ghosts and devils onMingshan Hill, or the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the Yantgze's rising waters brought by the Three Gorgres Dam.

In the afternoon, take the shore excurison to visit the Shibaozhai Pagoda, reputed as “Pearl of the Yangtze River”, has been praised as one of the “Top 7 Wonders in China” and the “World 8 Strange Constructions” by the US Discovery Channel. This pagoda is a red wooden pagoda built along the cliff facing with the Yangtze River. It is 12 storeys in total, with a height of 56 meters and the whole pagoda was made of wooden, without using any single nail in the construction. Travelers need to climb up to the pagoda where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the view in a different angle.

You will enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Party during the night, take part in the Crew cabaret and other evening entertainments.

Day 3 Yangtze River Cruise

Following the ship, and you will enter the Qutang Gorge. The Qutang Gorge is the shortest and most spectacular of China's Three Gorges. The combination of narrow canyons among high mountains with several switchbacks in only 8 kilometres creates spectacular vistas, and the Qutang Gorge is often considered the most beautiful of all the Three Gorges. Although it is primarily famous for its scenery, the Three Gorges region is also a historically and culturally important location in China.

Today, you will have chance to visit the Shennv Stream or Godness stream, it is a primitive gorge newly opened for travelers. Close to Goddess Peak, Shennv Stream has a length of 15 kilometers and about 10 kilometers belongs to the original gorge. Experience will be similar to Shennnong Stream. You’ll first switch to a smaller boat from your ship and then sailing through Shennv Stream. Hanging coffins can be seen and Tujia minority singing and dancing show can be experienced.

White Emperor City is usually served as an optional excursion for a cruise. Located on the north side of Qutang Gorge, White Emperor City offers the best angle to view the magnificent Kui Gate. Known as the Poem City, White Emperor City has attracted many poets come and left many famous poems. What makes this place known to outside is the historical story of “Entrusting Zhuge Liang with an Orphan in Baidi Town”.

Return to the ship at the appointed time. Stay overnight on the ship.

Day 4 Yichang Depature

Today, you will pass through the Xiling Gorge. It is the largest and most downstream—eastern of the famous Three Gorges.

The last destination is Three Gorge Dam, it is the world’s largest hydropower project and most notorious dam. As well as producing electricity, the dam is intended to increase the Yangtze River's shipping capacity and reduce the potential for floods downstream by providing flood storage space.

Upon cruise arrival in Yichang. Transfer from cruise to airport or train station for your next destination.
