Pick up service is arranged at Chengdu train station or Chengdhu Shuangliu International Airport, you will find a welcome sign "Chengdu Private Tour".
What you need to do is sitting back and relaxing in the car. Your guide will help you check in the hotel in the downtown Chengdu and provide information you need.
After breakfest, we will drive about 350 km (7.5-8 hrs ) to Xinduqiao via Ya'an and Kangding. Though it is a little long journey, take it easy, it will be not insipid because we drive through the longest tunnel in China - Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel and enjoy the picturesque scenery along the Chengdu Plain, the Dadu River and the Qingyi River.
Stay overnight in Xinduqiao.
Today drive 360km ( 8 hrs) to Daocheng. On the way, we will drive through 2 high mountian passes (over 4000 m), view the Maoya Grassland, across the Rabbit Mountain - the biggest Tibetan Plateau glacier relic, and Haizi Mountain Natural Reserve (4500 m).
Stay overnight in Litang.
After breakfast in your hotel, start your trip. First, drive 118 km (2hrs) to the Yading. On the way, you will enjoy very charming countryside scenery. When we passed Riva Village, you can visit the Chonggu Temple. Chonggu Temple stands at the foot of the peak Chenrezig, 3880 meters above sea level. The name literally means “a monastery built” on the lake in Tibetan. Thanks to the excellent location, the monastery is one of the must-go destinations in the Yading Nature Reserve.
Then ride a horse to the Pearl Lake to view the holy peak. Later, return to Yading Village.
Stay overnight in Yading village.
Today you can enjoy the sunrise, then your tour guide will lead you deep into the Yading Natural Reserve. Yading is a national level reserve in Daocheng County. The reserve covers an area of 1,344 square kilometers (134,400 hectares), with Chenrezig being its highest peak at 6,032 meters above sea level. It is known as one of China's oldest and best-preserved alpine ecosystems. The reserve's particular geographical environment, in addition to its alpine springs, carries with it a rather humid climate with rich vergetation covering the land, creating unique scenic sights.
Today you will ride horse to Luorong Pasture to pilgrim the three holy peaks, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduojie.
We will ride back to Yading Village and drive back to Daocheng in the late afternoon.
Free on your own until transfer back to Chengdu downtown hotel or drop off at Chengdu train station, airport.
