After breakfast, your journey continues with a scenic drive of approximately 350 kilometers (around 7.5–8 hours) from Chengdu to Xinduqiao, passing through the towns of Ya’an and Kangding. While the journey is relatively long, the route offers a feast for the eyes, winding through the breathtaking landscapes of the Chengdu Plain and tracing the tranquil courses of the Dadu and Qingyi Rivers. Along the way, you will pass through the impressive Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel, China’s longest tunnel, adding a unique highlight to the drive. The journey showcases the expansive Maoya Grassland, where rolling fields stretch as far as the eye can see, dotted with grazing yaks and horses.
