Overview:The origin of Sichuan cuisine can be traced back to the Qin and Han Dynasties, its recognition as a distinct regional system took place in the Han Dynasties over 2000 years ago. Sichuan cuisine is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan province in southwestern China. it has bold flavor particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique favor of the Sichuan pepper. Peanuts, sesame paste, and ginger are also prominent ingredients in Sichuan cooking. The characteristic of Sichuan food is very obvious: outstanding hot, sweet, oil, heavy flavor.
Typical dish such as hot pot, Mapo Toufu, Kungpao chicken, fish flavor eggplant, fish filets in hot chili oil, double cooked pork slices, diced rabbit with pepper. The chef will teach you how to do it step by step and you will learn about 4 different dishes during the class, such as Mapo Toufu, Gongbao Chicken, Fish Flavor Eggplant and Chinese dumpling. After learning you can get a synopsis paper that already write down the important steps make sure you won't forget it when you back home.
