We booked an 7-day private tour for our family of three with Your Way Holiday that started in early April, and we are genuinely pleased with their services. From day one, we felt very welcomed, and our local tour guide, Ellen, was simply wonderful. She consistently went above and beyond to assist us with various matters. There was one occasion when my little son was getting cranky and picky about food, and Ellen took the initiative to calm him down by chatting with him and even buying the food he really liked. We truly appreciated her kindness.

Throughout the trip, we were well taken care of regarding transportation, places to visit, and meals. Each time we arrived at a new location, Ellen patiently explained the historical background, which was incredibly helpful since we are very interested in history and culture. Chengdu is such a vast city, and it definitely requires more than one visit to fully appreciate its rich historical context and stories. We learned so much during our time there, and we also had the chance to practice our Chinese language skills with Ellen.

If we ever have the opportunity to return to Chengdu, we wouldn't hesitate to choose Your Way Holiday and Ellen as our guide again. Thank you, Your Way Holiday, for creating so many wonderful moments during our time in Chengdu. This experience is something we will always cherish!

The Jinli pedestrian street is beautifully presented and holds significant historical relevance for the locals, making it a brilliant spot for tourists to stroll through both day and night. Whether you’re looking to enjoy some traditional snacks, pick up unique souvenirs, or simply soak in the lively ambiance, this street offers an enjoyable experience that captures the essence of the city.

I was really impressed by this place! It covers such a large area, and the grounds are beautifully laid out. The panda enclosures are spacious, and if you're patient, you can definitely catch some great views of the adorable pandas. There are also a few other animals to see. I did quite a bit of walking, but there were plenty of rest areas and food/drink stops along the way. Mia, my guide, was fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable as I soaked in all the sights!

Everybody from Your Way Holiday was amazing! I contacted them via WhatsApp with some questions, and they ensured I had all the information before booking. On the day of the activity, my guide was incredibly accommodating, kind, and attentive. I felt very well taken care of. Before booking, please note that you won't be allowed to touch or feed the pandas. I find this rule to be very reasonable and fair, as I wouldn't want to stress the animals. The only thing that I didn't really like is that the experience involved a bit less actual work than I expected (and wanted) based on some reviews I had read. This isn't a reflection on Your Way Holiday, as the activities are organized by the research base. Overall, I'm incredibly glad I did this and would do it again! The whole experience, from booking to the actual tour, was excellent. Lilly provided clear communication leading up to the tour date, which eliminated any questions or concerns. On the day of the tour, Lily, our tour guide, did an excellent job. She knew the location well and was able to provide interesting facts as we progressed through our day. Had such a pleasant trip to see the pandas and the Buddha in Leshan! Ellen, the guide, and the driver arrived punctually at the hotel and took me to all the best spots for pictures while sharing fascinating insights about the pandas and Chengdu. We enjoyed a great lunch before embarking on a lovely boat ride to see the Buddha. Everything went smoothly from the reservation process to the end of the tour, and the spacious, clean car made for a comfortable drive!

The Leshan Giant Buddha is one of the must-see attractions when visiting Chengdu although it is located more than 2 hours away in the city of Leshan. Visitors have a choice of viewing the 233-ft stone carving from a built-in stairway in the mountain or riding a ferry, which is what we did. The ferry entrance is located far from the parking area but there are rickshaws that can take you there faster if you don’t want to walk. There were many local tourists on the day of our visit so the queue going to the ferry was quite long. The Giant Buddha stone carving is really huge up close, and it isn’t a surprise that it took 99 years to build. However, the once ferry passes the Buddha, it will immediately go back to the docking station to pick up more passengers so this tour was quite quick. If you come with a tour guide, he/she will be able to discuss the stone carving’s history, which is nothing short of fascinating. Very educational too, I must say.

Jesse, our guide, gave my companion and me a thoughtful, well-planned, and courteous introduction to this city. We enjoyed our day very much. Emy is a wonderful tour guide who took me around to the most important places in the city in a day and gave me a good introduction to this beautiful place. She is also quite flexible; for example, realizing that I am not a shopper, she took me to People’s Park instead, which was a great place to observe locals. The lunch restaurant Emy took me to was sooo delicious—best double-cooked pork ever! Lastly, the vehicle was new and very comfortable! I highly recommend this tour and Emy to any visitor to Chengdu!
