Pick up service can be arranged at Lijiang downtown hotel or Lijiang train station, our local guide will meet you with a welcome sign. Drive about 240 km on the mountain to Lugu Lake which takes 6 hours. On the way, you will see the wonderful view of the huge mountains and limpid rivers. You could hike from Jin?anqiao Bridge to Shudi along the road at the bank of Yangtze River, there you will see the beautiful canon and Yi ethnic people's villages in the steep mountains. After 1 hour hiking in the canon, continue the driving to Lugu Lake.
Arrive Lugu Lake late in the afternoon, take the canoes to visit Liwubi Island and Heiwawu Island in the lake.
Lugu Lake: 2690 meters above sea level, Lugu Lake is a gem located at the mountainous area on the border of Sichuan and Yunnan Province. About 240 km northeast of Lijiang, the lake occupies an area of 50 square kilometers with the average water depth of 45 meters. The lake is sparklingly clear, dotted with 5 islands.

If you the weather permit, get up early to enjoy the charming sunrise view of Lugu Lake. After breakfast, our guide will take you to vist the Zhamei Lamaist Monastery which is the biggest lamasery in Moso area of Yongning Town. Tibetan people call Yongning as "taluo", meaning "the way to heaven". The place the Zhamei Lamasery lies in is called "Zhameige", which means "no war". The coincidence of these two names make the Lamasery even famous in Tibet.
Continue your tour to visit the Yongning Town is an important town of the Ancient Tea-Horse Trade Caravan from Yunnan to Tibet. Located between Yunnan and Sichuan, Yongning keeps the original ethnic life which is still not damaged by tourists. You will visit Mosuo Market in Yongning Town. We will arrange a Mosuo family for you to visit and have lunch in Mosuo family, enjoy the Mosuo real life in a village.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Lijiang or drop off at Lijiang train station for your next destination.
