7 Days Yangtze River Cruise with Wuhan City Tour

Day 1 Wuhan Arrival

Pick up service can be arranged at Wuhan train station or Wuhan airport, Our Wuhan private tour guide and driver will meet you at the exit of Wuhan train station or airport.

What you need to do is sitting back and relaxing in the car. Your guide will help you check in the hotel in the downtown Wuhan and provide information you need.

Day 2 Wuhan

In the morning, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and take you to visit one of famous attractions in Wuhan-Yellow Crane Tower. If you're in Wuhan, an absolute must-see is the Yellow Crane Tower. Regarded as one of the Four Great Towers of China, the tower stands on the banks of the Yangtze River at the top of Snake Hill. It is incredibly beautiful and its cultural significance led to its being made the symbol of Wuhan city. It goes without saying that it is one of Hubei's most popular tourist attractions. 

Then head to the Guqintai, located on the south bank of Moon Lake, near the western foot of Tortoise Hill. It is the beautiful site with great layout where you could appreciate the sincere friendship between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi in Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 B.C.). (Lunch is include)

 In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Donghu Lake, it is the largest lake within a city in China. Take the ferry boat to explore the scenic area with pavilions and gardens.

After the sightseeing around Donghu lake, drive back to your hotel in Wuhan downtown.

Day 3 Wuhan-Yichang

In the morning, take the high-speed train from Wuhan to Yichang. Upon arrival, bring you to have a lunch at the local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, you will have a chance to visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. There are three main exhibition halls in the museum with a total area of 920 square meters displaying altogether 617 pieces of relics, 230 photos and drawings and 100 pieces of text. Then the cruise finish and we will drive you to Yichang airport for the flight to Shanghai. You can have a comfortable sleep in a cosy hotel of Shanghai.

Afterwards, you will be taken to the Maoping Port to catch your cruise ship. Your yangtze river cruise tour from Yichang.

Day 4 Yangtze River Cruise

The following attractions you will visit: Three Gorges Dam at Sandouping, the largest hydroelectric power project in the world. As well as producing electricity, the dam is intended to increase the Yangtze River's shipping capacity and reduce the potential for floods downstream by providing flood storage spaceLater sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Xiling Gorge, the longest (41 miles) and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Because of numerous reefs and odd-shaped stones existing in rapid shoals, it is also well known for its danger. Scenery along the Xiling Gorge is spectacular. Some renowned streams, springs, stones and karst caves can be found along this section.

Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise

Continue your voyage on Yangtze River through hidden reefs and tumbling rapids. The following attractions you will visit: Daning River Small Gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges but also impressive. Enter Wu Gorge known for its forest-covered mountains and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices.Wu Gorge is famous for its zigzags, weird peaks, rising mists and beautiful sights.

Qutang Gorge, the shortest, narrowest and most dramatic gorge. The combination of narrow canyons among high mountains with several switchbacks in only 8 kilometres creates spectacular vistas, and the Qutang Gorge is often considered the most beautiful of all the Three Gorges. Although it is primarily famous for its scenery, the Three Gorges region is also a historically and culturally important location in China.

White Emperor City, an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge. Many relics housed in the Baidi Temple such as ancient architectures, a stele forest, ancient suspended wooden coffins, painting and calligraphy works by celebrities of different dynasties.

Day 6 Yangtze River Cruise

Today, you will have an excursion to Fengdu, visiting either the "Ghost City" known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the Yantgze's rising waters brought by the Three Gorgres Dam.

Shibaozhai, visiting the impressive 12-story pagoda. Known as "The pearl of the Yangtze", it is one of the gems of Chinese architecture. The 18th Century red wooden temple is an architectural delight full of Legends and beautiful stories. Climbing on the top, you can have a panoramic view of the Yangtze River. Inside the pavilion, there are steles and inscriptions of past dynasties of each floor. Visitors can also admire the spectacular Yangtze River from the windows of each floor.

Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise, Chongqing Departure

In this morning, your ship will arrive at Chongqing Chaotianmen Port around 09:00. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up at the port and escort you to the airport or train station to next destination. Our service ends.
