This facility is not only the most important panda scientific research center in the world, but also the home for more than 100 Giant Pandas. You will walk at leisure through the bamboo-framed paths and closely observe giant pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, and climbing trees. Be sure to not miss the chance to watch female pandas nursing their cubs in the nursery rooms! There is also a very informative Panda Museum where you can learn more scientific facts about Giant Pandas.
Have lunch at the local restaurant.
After Lunch, you will take an hour drive to Luodai Ancient Town, at the eastern suburb of Chengdu. The largest Hakka community in southwest China, with a history of 1800 years, now has over 85% residents of Hakka immigrants. Praised as the Best Hakka Town in China, Luodai Ancient Town showcases the well-preserved Hakka residency, old streets and many Guild Halls. Inside the town, you can find much local street food, souvenir shops, as well as some local famers selling fresh vegetables and fruit in baskets by the road.
After the Hakka town tour, drive to Golden Dragon Great Wall and take a light hiking there to enjoy the beautiful country view.
